Discovering organizing was a happy mistake. I pursued a career in international development for more than 20 years, but when I found professional organizing, I recognized I had found another purpose-driven calling. I saw how organization impacts the quality of people’s lives. As a working professional, mom and spouse, I personally have experienced how getting my home more organized has made the balancing act of these roles more manageable – and helped me be present for it.
Have you experienced this? You arrive home from work feeling like you ran a mental marathon and you’re trying to switch from “work mode” to “home mode,” hoping you’ll be able to check off some of the million things looming on your personal to-do list. On top of that, everywhere you look there seems to be clutter, or a space in your home that you've been ignoring, leading to a spiraling sense of overwhelm and overstimulation. There simply aren't enough hours in the day to conquer it all alone. I’ve been there!
Having organized surroundings and feeling organized helps preserve our energy and focus. We need that energy to be present, positive and able to rise to challenges and opportunities. When places in the home make us feel stressed, it drains that energy. Getting organized is an investment in your wellbeing and performance. It's a pathway for freeing more time and energy.
My clients breathe a sigh of relief to see their home more organized. They often feel empowered to organize other areas of their life too. This is why I got into organizing! I love to help people find this relief and more time to enjoy life.
Let me know how I can help you reclaim your energy and time!
