About JLJ Organizing
Hi! I'm Jen. I'm a mother, wife and busy professional living in the national capital region. I started JLJ Organizing to help people free up physical and mental space. I want to help my clients reclaim time to focus on the things that matter most to them and be less distracted by their physical possessions.
No home is perfect and most homes don't look like the ones on HGTV, Netflix or social media - especially mine. But I believe that no matter the size or appearance of your home, its possible to assign everything a space and that orderly spaces limit mental distractions.
There are four main truths about possessions that I share with all of my clients:
- Every object you bring into your home is an imposition on your time.
- When you know what you already have, you avoid buying duplicates and adding clutter.
- When you know where to find your things, you save time and avoid stress searching for them.
- "Outer order leads to inner calm," (Gretchen Rubin, 2019).
